Taylor Kohn, MA, LPC
I graduated from Southern Oregon University in 1989 with a MA degree in Psychology and Communication and became licensed by the state of Oregon as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 1991. My interest is in helping people reach their potential in all phases of life.
My experience in educational, non-profit and governmental agencies has been focused on increasing workplace harmony and developing innovative services. As a case consultant with the Oregon Department of Human Service, I provided training and support to staff in strength based coaching to help clients create positive change in their lives.
Areas of specialized training include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Processing), Attachment-Focused EMDR, Brainspotting and polyvagal theory applications for calming the nervous system. I have also had extensive training in the Enneagram and transformational leadership. QiGong and somatic meditation have also been foundational in my personal and professional development and in how I work.
